3 weeks of field research across 5 departments. Identification of 12 story candidates. Selection of 4 primary subjects based on narrative strength and willingness to participate. Script outline and shot list developed.
16-day shoot with a 4-person crew. Two camera setup. Professional lighting and audio. All interviews conducted in Haitian Creole with French and English subtitle tracks produced in post.
6-week editing process. Professional color grade. Original score composed and recorded. Three versions delivered: 20-minute full documentary, 8-minute conference version, and 3-minute digital cut.
